Going into nearly a decade of leaving home, this journey took me to coast-to-coast, visiting the smallest villages to the biggest cities. Cultural traits that was once familiar, now feels foreign. I am met with relief that some things don't change, but faced with a guilt of having left everything behind. And for what reason? My own selfish curiosity.
This journal illustrates a trip filled with reconciliation, laughter and love. And ultimately, the challenge of redefining what a home is, a challenge that regained a passion for the home that I once was so determined to escape.
